“Balagam – The Family Restaurant approached us with the challenge of creating a brand identity that would reflect its core values of togetherness, warmth, and a welcoming atmosphere for families. They sought a visual language that would be both inviting and memorable, appealing to a diverse clientele looking for a comfortable dining experience. The task was to develop a brand that would stand out in the restaurant industry and communicate the sense of community and family that “Balagam” represents.

This meant crafting a logo, color palette, and typography that would feel both friendly and sophisticated. We needed to create a brand that would resonate with families and individuals seeking a place to connect and enjoy a meal together. The goal was to build a brand that would establish Balagam as a cherished and familiar dining destination.”

“Our approach to the Balagam – The Family Restaurant project was rooted in understanding their core values: family, community, and a comforting dining experience. We aimed to create a brand that would visually communicate these key attributes in an appealing and memorable way.

The logo features a stylized abstract symbol that could be interpreted as intertwined figures, representing unity and connection, or a stylized representation of people gathered – embodying the essence of a family restaurant. The flowing lines of the symbol add a sense of warmth and approachability. The text “BALAGAM” is presented in a clear and elegant typeface, while the tagline “THE FAMILY RESTAURANT” reinforces the core concept.

The color palette utilizes a warm golden yellow (#FBB818) to evoke feelings of happiness, comfort, and appetite appeal. The white (#FFFFFF) provides a clean and inviting contrast, ensuring legibility and a sense of purity.

The “Engusto – Regular” typeface, with its slightly rounded and friendly forms, was selected for its approachability and readability, suitable for a family-oriented brand.

We extended this visual language to various touchpoints, including a tote bag, business cards, and a menu design. The tote bag offers a casual brand representation, while the business cards provide essential contact information in a stylish manner. The menu design appears sophisticated and easy to read, enhancing the dining experience.
